I recently stayed in a little guesthouse for 5 nights and had an amazing experience. the host was extremely nice and welcoming, offering us fresh water, coffee, and even homemade muffins! We were pleasantly surprised when we were upgraded to a room with a balcony free of charge upon arrival. the location was ideal, a very quiet area but still less than a 5-minute walk to the main road with lots of activities nearby. the bed was incredibly comfortable, probably the comfiest I've ever slept on during my travels in Thailand.
To be honest, I couldn't find any negative aspects to this guesthouse. It was amazing in every way possible.
